I do too. Trump has some big promises to fulfill. A lot hinges on Trump doing what he said he would do. If Trump does what he's promised - if he repeals obamacare, if he appoints conservative SCOTUS, if his policies create jobs, if he secures the border and rolls back obama's terrible immigration policy -- if he can do all this (and doesn't have any sex scandals or other scandals), he will likely win the 2020 election with ease.

Heck, if he could pull all that off, I'd gladly vote for him in 2020. Somehow I don't see that happening, though.

Hey David, will you be able to say "President Trump" or will you choke and gag.

Ok, I just saw that too, he was quite hilarious to watch, as his mother tried to keep him in line! Too funny!

Well, this has been quite a night, has it not!

I am glad that the Republicans held the House and gained the majority in the Senate. They won't have the 60 votes, but they will be in the majority. I knew we would hold the House, but especially wanted to get a majority in the Senate.

Otherwise, I don't care who won on the top ticket. Trump was extremely, over the top offensive and lying. I would never have been able to vote for a person like that.

I beg to differ with Ms Carpenter.
Very evident his campaign actually did win the heart and trust of
most America!

Perhaps it would be accurate to say that 48% didn't want Hillary. She won 47% of the vote. That means that we are still a nation, largely, divided.

Correction to adjust this morning:

Votes for Donald J. Trump: 47.5% - 59,054,059
Votes for Hillary Clinton - 47.6% - 59,195,587

More to the point, did you vote to "win" or did Trump really WIN your "heart" and your "trust"?
