That is correct. I hadn't heard of Josh Herring before, but there are several videos on YouTube of him preaching.

But will he deliver a message on the power of a woman's uncut hair as well as Lee Stoneking? Could be a missed opportunity for the women there to learn about what a talisman their uncut hair is.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I guess they'll miss out on knowing what the witches know.
Seriously, I'd question any church or pastor inviting Lee Stoneking.
Two words: southerneastern university
And Osamas 40 wives. The nation of Fiji. His using occultic sources as authority for his hairesy teachings, and so on.
How he still has a license to preach in the UPC is a mystery to me.

The only thing I disagree with more than SOME of Evangelist Stoneking's ideas and doctrines is your lack of basic concern for this human being-- a man of God with a few flawed doctrines who has, in spite of his flaws, been chosen by God to impact the Body of Christ. This man is now apparently pretty ill... and old.
Given the context off this thread, it would be poor taste to start to bash him in this thread.
Will you two PLEASE pray for him?

Flawed doctrine of false doctrine? How much is acceptable? People get thrown under the bus for teaching a different view of Axe 238, but this guy that teaches witchcraft is celebrated.

No one has celebrated him on this thread.
I was hoping to stop the shredding of an old and sick man of God.
Compassion? Anyone?
