We live about 70 miles inland from the MS Gulf Coast so 3 or better
makes me wanna get goin!

Pray for the Texas and Louisiana Coast. The Hurricane is projected to move Southeast back over the Gulf and turn NE into Louisiana.

They are projecting a Category 3. We are on the dangerous side of this.

I know I'm just a current of air change away, from my own hurricane.

We have to pray for each other. I can't leave because of my animals, and I wouldn't be able to transport them in the event of a storm.

Waiting it out in Houston. When it rains it never seems to flood in our neighborhood. And there's a few water things... ditches? IDK... that run through the neighborhood. They are always empty.

Outside of the neighborhood is another story...

Only positive to being pulled from work... I would have had to work during the storm. Maybe the building at the old site will be destroyed as a testimony against them... MWAHAHAHA! Sorry... sometimes I really get into the Old Testament.

See, I have been wanting to move to Texas for a few years now, but the tornadoes and hurricanes scare me. I live in California, where there's only one major earthquake every 20-40+ years or so.

I don't know. The possibility that I might have to repair my house almost every year... but I have family there on my father's side, and I like the land among other things, so I'm seriously considering it.

My family live near Longview Texas. Was looking at places near Dallas, but have been looking at and weighing my options in other areas.
