Re: Speak what you desire to see.

Our confession should be in agreement with Gods word in any given area.

Re: Speak what you desire to see.

Sadly, I think those involved with the occult often have a better understanding of the supernatural forces at work because religion, fear, and superstition, often clouds our thinking.

It is important to realize that everything in God's economy is mirrored or duplicated in a weaker and lesser degree in those realms and practices outside of God's Kingdom.

In witchcraft there is "magik", "magik" is regarded as the manipulatable ambient energies of the universe that react to thought and expression on the quantum level. This is activated by "intent" or "intention". This is a counterfeit of what we have in God's Kingdom. In God's Kingdom, the believer doesn't have "magik", the believer has received "power". This power is not activated merely in accordance to "intent", but rather in accordance to "faith" in God's Holy Word. And so witches have their spells, we have our prayers.

In the occult there are "psychic" gifts. These are gifts such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, etc. In God's Kingdom, there are the Gifts of the Spirit such as word of knowledge, prophecy, dreams, visions, and healings, etc.

In the occult, there are "spirit guides" or "familiar spirits". In God's Kingdom there are Guardian Angels and ministering angels.

In the occult, they promise reincarnation as a life after death. In God's Kingdom, there is resurrection.

In the occult there are fetishes and cursed objects. In God's Kingdom, there is power to bless and consecrate objects such as prayer cloths, water, etc.

I do believe that our words and our actions can activate, attract, or open doorways to spiritual realities. Those can be evil spiritual realities or holy spiritual realities. I know many will disagree with me and call me crazy, but I also believe that spiritual portals exist that can be dormant and activated, closed, and even created. Many references in Scripture point to these realities when referencing things such as the "widows of heaven" and "opened doors", etc.

It is important to realize that Satan has nothing that is original. Everything in the occult is nothing but a twisted, misused, and counterfeit of the real deal that is only found in God's Kingdom.

That's what I believe.

I am aware that many who have come out of the occult are extra cautious in guarding against it. I'm sensitive to these brothers and sisters and their convictions. And we should give extra thought and consideration to all things that might cause them to pause to ensure that we are in deed in the Book. In this, these cautious brothers and sisters serve us well. But it is important to realize that we cannot deny true spiritual realities simply because the devil has counterfeited them in some way to advance his kingdom.

This is a war between two very real, but spiritual kingdoms. Both kingdoms have their provisions and manner of combat. We do well not to neglect this reality.

Who is deserving to be called a witch here? I must have missed something.

Re: Speak what you desire to see.

Our Focus should be on what we cannot see, realizing the effects in ours and others lives. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, and temperance cannot be seen with the eye. And only the Lord knows if these are truly in our hearts. If we focus on these in our lives then it is harder for the adversary to discourage us.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the (things which are seen are temporal); but the things (which are not seen are eternal.)

The occult, superstitions and all false faiths are Cabbalistic Jewish Fables. The only thing our adversary can do correctly is Lie. He is the Father of Lies. He sows fear, doubt and unbelief in those who will listen.

Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 (Not giving heed to Jewish fables), (and commandments of men, that turn from the truth). 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled, and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

I have found that when I am weak he is strong. Where I fail he is faithful. Words do matter, but the Word of God is written in our hearts. The blood of our Savior is greater than the negativity of the world. Our enemy tries to create doubt and unbelief in the promises we have been given by Jesus, but the just shall live by faith.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Our Faith should be focused on that which is eternal rather than the temporal. We live this life as a living sacrifice. And confess to our Father thy will be done not mine. I try to keep these words on my lips always.

Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, (the evidence of things not seen). 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Re: Speak what you desire to see.

Some of the most depressing things you'll ever read are inspired verses of Holy Scripture. Job's pain and lament. Many of the Psalms. Lamentations, etc. Sometimes pouring out one's complaint before the Lord is the greatest adoration and worship a person can give to the Master.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. Give God your brokenness, and He will give you beauty for ashes. Don't pretend the ashes aren't real, or that you can just wish them away with the power of your words. Give them to God as your most noble sacrifice, and let Him take from you all that hurts you and causes you grief, and then He, and not you, will replace them with something worthy.
