It seems even less active than when I started frequenting here around a year or so ago.

There have been plenty of discussions with genuinely edifying information being provided. They usually get practically zero traction around here. What works here is arguing about "standards" and interpersonal beefs.
In other words, soap opera style drama. Which is determined by the clientele. Lots of blue-haired cat lady types here (of both biological genders). Kind of a microcosm of the world we are currently imprisoned in.

There are plenty days where if there was a delete button for my account Id be hitting it. This place is like a train wreck and I cant help but watch. Just another iteration of social media. Ive just discovered that I have a lot more time for things of importance by not giving as much time to things that have nothing to do with me and silly arguments and drama. I have developed some good connections on here and learned some amazing things but ultimately its just a distraction from focusing on whats truly important.
