Everyone in Canada is free to practise any religion or no religion at all. We are also free to express religious beliefs through prayer or by wearing religious clothing for example. However, the Charter also ensures that others also have the right to express their religious beliefs in public.
We’re free to think our own thoughts, speak our minds, listen to views of others and express our opinions in creative ways. We’re also free to meet with anyone we wish and participate in peaceful demonstrations. This includes the right to protest against a government action or institution.
However, these freedoms are not unlimited. There may be limits on how you express your religious beliefs if your way of doing so would infringe on the rights of others or undermine complex public programs and policies.
Now there are some Churches in Alberta and BC with deeper pockets than us that are challenging these lockdowns in Court using the Charter.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
(Luk 1:68-75) Your "charter" is the Holy Bible. You have been authorised to assemble together to worship Christ. If man says "no, you are NOT authorised" then the proper Christian response is found here:
But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
(Act 4:19) And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
(Act 5:27-29)

The fine is $2,300 per occurence with possible $750 fine per attendee. If we invite this, how much do you pledge that we can pay the fines?
Just a figure Bro!

Ron has your church thought about leaving the building and going into saint’s homes? Until this all blows over in Justin Trudeauland?

Not a bad idea! We have talked about doing house meetings if we were not able to assemble as a whole. So far, thankfully, services have resumed without interruption through all of this. I just cannot see livestreaming, conference calls or zoom church as fulfilling Hebrews 10:25. I would much rather meet in small groups, as opposed to not meeting at all.

My brother is a missionary to Bosnia. His father in law is a pastor. During Soviet Union occupation non government churches were verboten. Therefore you had to go underground. He was imprisoned many times, but continued to defy the system to be able to have church.

I asked for a figure, not an opinion. How much? You do have our back right? Or are you just preaching from the cheap seats until it comes to you?🤔

Canada is like California or NY right now, or pick a State that is even more liberal. There is an order against no one other than your immediate family meeting in your household. A lot of people flaunt it even sinners, but this is where the Nazi left comes in and the Government suggests they tattle on their neighbors. In Winnipeg a large Church was going to flaunt the law by having a drive in service. You know have people drive into the parking lot and have service while sitting in their cars. The powers that be got wind of it, and when members of the Church showed up on Sunday morning, they found RCMP vehicles blocking the entrance. They all got fined anyways, even though they didn't have Church. They are one of the Churches that are contesting these orders in Court. Why can people go to strip clubs, Grocery Stores, Gyms and yet Churches are closed, even though we practice the same social distancing, masks if people want one, and hand sanitizers.
I hear and see the possibility of Martial Law down in the States. If that happens, you will be in worse shape than we are.

The order to not have meetings is only until Jan 8. Cases of Covid 19 are going down. They are starting to Vaccinate people at 14 sites across Canada this afternoon. Everyone is looking to Jan 8 as seeing as the case count is going down, there is vaccinations beginning, it will be harder for the Government to justify what they are doing.
