I actually thought it was an interesting point...why aren't there men reminding God of their obedience in keeping their hair short, and laying their heads on the sick? Or simply using their hair as a reminder to God that they're submitted?
For your information, there are quite a lot of folks who believe a woman should leave her hair uncut, but still object to some of the new concepts that seem to be developing.
In an act of desperation, would you do that? Remind God that you had always kept your hair short? I'm not saying its a bad thing...just seems kind of weird to me...and a woman doing that with her uncut hair seems equally...well...weird.
I agree with Abby, except, I don't think it's weird for someone that has been taught this doctrine. I've been taught this doctrine in the past. I haven't used it for healing, only in a desperate prayer.
I found out you can't get ahead of God no matter how long your hair is.
IMHO this thread is just trying to stir something up.
I will not even dignify it by voting..............
Bad Thread..............
Oh and by the way HO........some still believe the Word of God to mean what it says when it comes to a woman leaving her hair uncut........................
I will now leave again for the day................
I agree with This Brother. This one and several more threads concerning this subject of laying on hair have been posted. Why? No Other reason than to stir the pot.

Sure lay some of my magic clippings on the sick ,and we'll empty the hospitals.

There they can find plenty of fault.
As a matter of everyday practice? No. But if I felt God directing me to do so I absolutely would. He has had people do some unusual things to accomplish his will.

Just to answer your statement above.....I believe the Word of God to mean what it says also, but my KJV doesn't say 'uncut' in regard to women's hair.
Oh, and this is not to stir up something. This is from an actual discussion I had with someone.

Thanks for also reminding him that this thread isn't about cut or uncut anyway....but about men placing their hair on people for healing like some women are doing, claiming God is telling them to, or doing so to get God's attention, or as an act of desperation.
