Yes, God approves. When my husband (East Indian) and I (WASP) became engaged and he informed his mother, his mother was concerned and immediately went to God in prayer. God showed her the verse that states, "if God be for us, who can be against us" (sorry for not looking up the reference). She called my husband and gave her approval.

That's a great scripture Sis!
If God be for us -- WHO can be against us?!!! Doesn't mean that people won't be -- just that God is for us anyhow and HE prevails!!

I had a Pastor in Texas that was against a hispanic/"white" marriage. He claimed that at the tower of babel, God divided the races and that He/God does not approve of interracial marriage. I believe that Pentecost reversed babel, when christians are united in spirit by "speaking in tongues." I also showed him I Cor 7:39:
"The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord."
This issue has been a constant source of consternation in my own life. I can see both sides of the argument. What do "y'all" think? :sshhh
Someone probably pointed this out already, but God didn't divide races, but divided languages, and only to stop the folly going on. If God prefers people to be with their own race, then He's a liar when the Bible says He is no respector of persons, and Paul lied when he said there is neither Jew nor Greek, but all are one in Christ.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
If God does not approve of mixed marriages, than He would certainly not approve of their offspring, that pastor should have reminded Him before He filled me with the Holy Ghost, since my dad is Scottish descent and my mom is Japanese.
