My point is most pastors can be voted out... for good cause.
I agree they should not come and go on the whim of anothers vision though I am not sure how it works with Sherri's church/es.
Oh, and I really don't fully get the campus pastor either...
BTW By The Way

Hey, thanks. I believe each church has to stand on it's own with the pastor being the set man over that particular house. I have enough responsibilty with the vision for my own city, I don't think I could have that and do it well for 3 or 4 cities. Unless, they all served a one centered goal. But, that's just me and maybe I'm a little to old fashioned. Thanks for the BTW info.

I believe the concept is that the overall Pastor or Overseer is a man who delivers the sermons to the various congregations via video on a screen while a local "campus pastor" handles pastoral care and administrative type things at each physical location.

Sorry, but no. We have been on TV for three years now and the results have been amazing and have definitely brought many people to our church, resulting in several salvations and changed lives.
BUT (and that's a very big but)....on the second Sunday of October, we are launching our first Sunday services in Savannah, where we have only had Thursday night Bible studies. It will be a video venue, with a live band and a campus pastor, but Eddie will preach via big screen. It will not be a live feed, but a week delay. Since that area is reached by our TV show, we didn't feel it would be advantageous to ask people to come to an 11 AM service with video preaching when they can sit at home and see it at 10:30 in their underwear. So, we are cancelling it for now.
Also, it will save the ministry about a thousand dollars per week, which will come in handy in other areas for now. Has TV been successful for us? Absolutetly!!! But it's not the answer for everything. God will continue to bless and hopefully all those people that we've met in Jackson who tell us they watch Eddie every week will now feel the need to venture out and visit the church in person!

Think of all the souls who will be lost eternally by you not being on television.

Right---we are doing one video venue right now in another location in our church here in Jackson. They have their own live music and pastor back there (who is one of our assistants). But the preaching is on the huge video screens and it's Eddie recorded from the first service.
This is the first one we've done in another city/town. The people are excited about it. Love & Truth Ministries is all under Eddie, so any church we have is under his oversight. The other ones all have a man set in the house as pastor; this will be the first one with a campus pastor. He is only responsible for the care of the people, the adminstrative work, etc. He will also do some midweek services. It's a great concept for young pastors who are not experienced enough to handle doing 2 or 3 sermons a week.
This way, all of Love & Truth Ministries has a central focus and vision and they are all taught the same thing. A new concept, but it's working across the nation!

Many years from now, after the pastor has passed on to his reward, I wonder if they will still play his video's like Branhams followers do??
