Re: BREAKING NEWS: Osama Bin Laden is dead!
Haven't taken the time to read this thread but I will say this:
Bush deserves credit for putting Al Qaeda on the run. The remainder of his presidency, no attacks on the homeland by outside forces.
Obama deserves credit for going for the more difficult mission of going in and extracting Bin Laden dead or alive. They could've bombed the place and left it a pile of rubble and OBL obliterated. Getting OBL's body and confirming a DNA match was crucial.
Ultimately our Armed Forces and Intelligence Services deserve the lion's share of credit for their superb professionalism and endurance. This mission was 4 years in the making, spanning both Bush and Obama administrations.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Osama Bin Laden is dead!
This crisis ignores the next one. The Muslim brotherhood is bigger and has been around a long time. Obama is relaxed with them and working with them. He will watch it come back and hurt us.
Al Queda is planning revenge as we speak.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Osama Bin Laden is dead!
AND---this will do nothing to help BO get reelected.
GHW Bush had a 91% approval rating in January 1991 during the first Gulf War. By November 1992 he was defeated by Bill Clinton. "Its the economy, stupid", remember that line? A year and a half of $4.00+ gas, high unemployment, inflation, weak dollar, rising interest rates, poor housing market, growing national debt and low consumer confidence will make yesterday distant memory.
BO is a one-termer.

Obama needs to help America. He should also be humble, because al Queda is angry and can create another huge problem.

Deacon, I think I can handle a few months of high gas bills if it will insure me of Obama being a "one termer!"
We've got "Truthers," "Birthers," "Deathers"
and I sure hope "One Termer!" Yea!

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Osama Bin Laden is dead!
Peter King, Congressman from New York, just reported that the information that lead up to the death of Osama started in a water boarding incident. The investigation has also been in progress for 4 years. SO JD and the other critics of GWB, go ahead and admit you were wrong. Bush started this while he was in office and again Obama just followed up on what Bush had started.
Obama made his "me, my and I" incident, but Bush sure deserves his part of the credit. Ah, go ahead Obama and blame Bush!

Deacon, read my previous post. This all started with water boarding and 4 years ago.

Light, JD, Seascapes....please report to the office.
You did not do your home work so you will stay after class today and repeat 100 times, and then write it on the black board 100 times, "I was wrong! I was wrong! and I repent!"
You got it now? Come on to the office.
