It seems apparent to me that on this forum it is okay to:
Tell saints from other churches their pastors need to go back to Calvary to watch him die.
It is okay to misrepresent other peoples views in spite of the multitudes of times it has been posted to the contrary.

What is not okay is to stand and call those who misrepresent others viewpoints (lying) liars which would be the truth.

It disgusts me to see a missionary's wife so insolent towards other preachers and then try to say it is a solemn thing to do.

If the overseers see something weong with that statement they sure can tell me...I've heard my pastor say that over and over again until it has become a part of me...Sorry if you are offended...I cannot see nothing wrong with saying we should all go back to calvary....

I talk to pastor's everyday and saints and never has one ever thought that statement was wrong or disrespectful...

Attempts to justify it are ludicrous and disingenuous. It is the height of deceit to try and say something that was not said as though it was what was said. Kinda like politicians... Bill Clinton became infamous for this.

I was the one that spoke of the debate. I owned up to it. It was Bro George and Rudy Burrows. I preached for Bro George and do not know Bro Burrows. Yes, after about 15-20 years I thought it was Bro Scheels that debated him. Was it an intentional misrepresentation? NO!

What does this have to do with Pliny? He did not make the assertion, I did.

However, not knowing Bro Burrows and anything he stands for except his stand against women preachers, having listened to the debate, I still recommend everyone getting it, if it would still be available.
