Why should that shock us?
It took armed revolt in order for us to be able to walk in our God-given, natural rights in the first place. Why would it at all seem strange or un-Christian for us to use arms to remain free? After all, this is why the Framers included the 2nd Amendment in our constitution, for such an event as this.
A year ago China launched what amounted to a biological attack on this country. With the help of a Marxist fifth column in this country, they use this attack to sabotage our economy and to weaken our President. When it seemed he was going to be re-elected, this fifth column used sophisticated means to steal the election so a Marxist puppet regime for China could be installed. Their plan fell way short in the House and Senate. For that, they will expedite a radical agenda from day one using executive fiat. The country will be shut down for 6 weeks. The plan is to finish off as many private businesses and private schools as possible. When this 6 week period is over, the American people will be offered debt relief for government control of their lives. Even then they will underestimate the will of several States that will not comply and will raise State militia independent of the National Guard to protect their citizens.
So knowing all of this, why would we care if Trump declares a state of emergency as 3 million armed patriots take control of D.C. while millions more take control of the street of many state capitals? There will be a dictatorship in this country one way or another. A temporary dictatorship that roots out communists might be a good thing.
