My question remains unanswered.

You can't simplify the answer any further.

I read it. Think it should be closed. It's not productive.

If the only defense you have for participating in such gossip when called on it is to point out that I read it then you answered your own question.

In fact I think that the insinuation of "hateful" Pentecostals is coming mostly from the fertile imaginations of bitter, backslidden ex Apostolics who are constantly trying to find a way to justify their actions. ~ strait shooter

Take a look back at my post history on this thread. I don't believe that any of my posts can be deemed "gossip." If merely posting in the thread qualifies it for gossip, then you too are guilty.

Either way you look at it, my question hasn't been answered.

LOL, well if your post can not be deemed as gossip then apparently he is not talking to you, lol.

And yes, your question has been answered, whether you accept that answer or not is your problem.

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Let the church say AMEN!!! LOL. It appears he revels in his role bemoaning the nerve of people discussing this subject. Makes me ponder if one can have pride in their piousness.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Anyone want to pay $50 to hear this man speak on restoration?! Checked out his bio and was really surprised to hear that his church in Memphis had a membership of 1,020 at the time of his resignation. This man has a problem with telling the truth cause I'm pretty sure that church never ran that many in members. Not sure they even reached that on special occasions or special events. Wow!
