Dear Mr. Pressing On. Teach your dog to fetch a stick... then throw the stick onto the freeway.

How did he get in the shed? Did someone leave the door open? Maybe your husband did.

We have a cottage style home. The area would formerly be called a "potting shed" because of the shelving and hooks for pot plants. There is one entrance and it is framed with scalloped wood trim, no door. It's not really a structure on it's own. It's actually an extensive off of our Master bedroom as we have a Mother-in-law plan. So that area has it's own back door. It houses our hot water heater and a raised platform in the back where I keep my washer and dryer.

It is separate from the back porch that is leading out of the kitchen. That makes us have two back doors. lol Where's the back door? It's in the back! lol

The house had the hookups in the Master bathroom when we moved in and I didn't want them in there, so we moved them. We remodeled the bathroom and covered up the hookups.

The dryer hose is what he grabbed and dragged into the yard for my husband to see when he got home. Lord, he was FURIOUS!!!!!!

That is just way too much incentive for a puppy to not explore. He's just a puppy, that's what they do.
My puppy will be out of prison this weekend hopefully. IF our sons put up her fence she will have about an acre to run free in. She has already become an excellent guard dog. And doesn't jump up on people, thankfully. She's soooooooo BIG.

I know, it is too much incentive. The Obedience Trainer told me that Labs are chewers and he will have to be trained. She's going to call me back and get a schedule going.

I'm glad your dog doesn't jump on people. I play tag and tug-of-war with mine and think I may be contributing to the jumping.
