You're curious?
What about my curiosity which came before your curiosity?
Do all children go to doctors????
OK, how about, do all children NEED to go to doctors???
How about never seeing a doctor all the way into their old age???

You're way out in left field Evangelist.
Just say what you want to say. You would rather have never seen SCHIP become a reality, it's an "evil socialist" construct. You'd rather see Addison dead than admit that the left did more to help her survive more than the theoretical machinations of the rightwing.
Have some courage. Say what you mean.

Re: BY THIS STANDARD-Greg L. Bahnsen
I believe any government built on the concept of, "Love thy neighbor", is as biblical as can be.
So, love thy neighbor as thyself...
Thy poor neighbor.
Thy black neighbor.
Thy white neighbor.
Thy Muslim neighbor.
Thy gay neighbor.
Thy immigrant neighbor.
Thy Jewish neighbor.
Thy Christian neighbor.
Thy atheist neighbor.
Thy disabled neighbor.
Thy sick neighbor.
Thy liberal neighbor.
Thy conservative neighbor.
Thy illegal neighbor.
Thy veteran neighbor.
Thy elderly neighbor. This means to elevate others to being just as important, valuable, and precious in God's sight as you are.
What's so hard to grasp about aspiring to a civil society of Christian love, compassion, and respect in 2018?

Aquila, just answer my questions.
The only one who is chickening out seems to be you.

Yes. I've used theoreticals. But this topic isn't a theoretical. Roughly 8 million children are estimated to have benefited from SCHIP.

No.

No. But it's a gamble. If a child never sees a doctor, many conditions will go undiagnosed and of course the child can have unnecessary suffering or die.

I imagine so, in other countries. However, child morbidity rates are rather high I such countries compared to the Western world.

Re: BY THIS STANDARD-Greg L. Bahnsen
Do all children have running water?
Do all children go to get water from the tap?
Do all children need running water?
Do some never see running water or drink a glass from the tap into their old age?
Well, we've affirmed that running water isn't necessary.
We can say the same thing about church buildings, pastor salaries, and air conditioning.
The point is this... and it is pretty simple... living in a wealthy Western nation, there is no reason why any child within our boarders should not be able to receive the treatments they need simply because their parents can't afford health insurance. That isn't "socialism". It's simply common sense.

A - except you do not believe it is limited to just children.
You believe it is a "right" that should be extended to all.

Then quit pontificating about what everyone needs to do, support, pay for, etc.

I and my family live theonomically to the best of our ability. Unlike the leftist socialists like yourself, we do not demand that other people pay our way through life and shield us from reality.
But once again, your entire message here on this forum can be summed in one short statement: Jesus may get you to heaven, but Uncle Sam will take care of everything else here and now. You consistently demand everyone put their trust in government programs, cannabis oil, psychoheresy, and anything and everything BUT Jesus Christ. You like to throw out the scare tactic of "Sure you can trust in God, but what if it doesn't work? What about those whom God lets down?" You seem bent on poisoning everyone's faith in God.
Hey, we get it. You absolutely do NOT want society to obey God, live for God, follow God, or follow the Bible. Cool. Others do. Including Jesus. So enjoy your life while you can. I've got literally three times as many children as you have, and the adult ones are Bible believing, antivaccine, homeschooled, theonomic apostolic believers currently positioning themselves to get married and build large, Bible believing, theonomic, homeschooling, antivax apostolic families.
So in twenty years you and your personal opinions will be utterly and totally irrelevant.
