Thanks ya'll!
They are perfect. I found a pair that would have worked and they were $100 - - I kept holding out hoping I could find something cheaper.......these were about a third of that and they matched perfectly!!!
You can't really tell in the picture, but the heels are metalic gold - - really sharp looking.

LOVE the shoes AND the dress! You will look so classy! My only suggestion would be........... I'd go with a french pedicure rather than a bold color. Either way - you will be beautiful! I'm like the others - can't wait for a full-length picture!

Regarding shoes and weddings........... when my first child got married, I looked more for style and price. I lived to regret that.
The next wedding - I looked for style and comfort and was willing to pay quite a bit more. However, it worked out for the best. Those shoes have been SO comfortable on several dress-up occassions so I have definitely gotten my $ worth! I told DH - even if I pay more for the shoes than the dress, my feet are NOT going to hurt at this wedding! - As it turned out - got a perfect pair for around $75 - my dress, well, it was quite a bit more - but well worth it!

Re: My Daughter's Engagement!!!!
I went for comfort on the dress and paid more than I normally would have, but it's dressy and comfortable (cooler) than anything else.
The shoes will be just for the wedding. I will take those off for the reception and switch to a flat pair of sequined thongs - shoes guys - - shoes! Don't want to take advantage of my new knee.

Re: My Daughter's Engagement!!!!
The shower was great!
She LOVED her personal cookbook from me and was shocked that I gave her a Kitchen Aid mixer!!!
She got a lot of big stuff she had registered for - - so we had a packed car leaving the shower.
Oh, I drank four or five glasses of lemonade...........they did a really cute thing. Served the slushy lemonade in plastic martini glasses with crushed Lemon Heads on the rim of the glasses. Really cute and very cool and summery!!

I'm sure that's tic, but wouldn't that be a hoot? I'd want to see the photographic evidence!
