Me too - very classy when she could be very bitter about it all!

All I know is that I heard about him and did hear him preach once (my husband had to remind me - so this guy must not have been too memorable) - but didn't realize he'd gone so far off the deep end.

I was telling Bro. George's son about this yesterday at church. He didn't say a whole lot, just that he knew about it. It really saddens them!

As far as the why? He is turning 40 soon and had come to a place in his life that he had to own up to what he was on the inside. He was tired of hiding. He had been all there is to be in the religious world without contentment and was fed up with himself. He decided to come clean and be what he felt he had really always been. This is his explanation. Mine? Too long to post all of it so I will sum up with one word. Narcissism.

I've had my moments. Christian knows about them and I always do my venting to him, not Tarah. She has a wonderful support system including our church, extended family, and Christian's mother who is equally devastated.

He preached for BIG guys and older wise Preachers from Bro. Larson to Joel Holmes and praying men and women. So don't act as though you knew and if you did and didn't share it to spare years of heartache..well, what does that say about your compassion? Sorry to you kind folks just a little venting

I understand completely, and I certainly never suspected anything. My parents loved him, and so did I for that matter...he was a complete sweetheart, and we enjoyed having him at our house. He was a bit messy...LOL...I think my Mom told him one morning to make up his bed...and he had sermon notes everywhere, even on the floor.

Has she stayed close to Tarah and the kids?

Yep, he loved going to your place. and loved your family. He always brought home tapes with amazing music and I loved it. He hasn't lived with me for almost 2 years and I am still cleaning his mess. LOL
