A direct comparison can be a stop sign.....if you dont heed it you directly crash.

An indirect comparison is a metaphor. It leaves the interpretation up to the one reading it. It always ends up in confusion.

The point is you say a person LIES when they use metaphors, and you just used one. NOW YOU CHANGE all that and say it's okay unless you say it's in the bible.
