Fantastic! God bless your boldness! I thank God that tribe didn't decide to find out what white meat tastes like!!
I know it's been asked before... but I can't recall... Have you chronicled this in a book?

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Bet I'm The Only One On AFF That...
I'm probably the only one that:
Drove up to a church building that was occupied with another denomination's congregation, felt the Lord tell me to call the pastor and ask him to sell the building to us, did and a few months later were having church in it.
Dreamed about wearing a pink pair of pants, got up and drove to Goodwill and saw a pink pair jutting out and, not knowing what size I wore, grabbed them and put them on and they fit perfectly. Bought them and put them on occasionally praying about the significance of the dream back when I was an ultra-con.
Dreamed about moving to our current state, told my husband who called the presbyter, tried out at the church, got voted in.
Hadn't seen my brother in 2 years (nobody knew where he was) and got into intercessory prayer for him one day, felt the heavens open up and spoke directly to him in the spirit realm asking him to come home and my Mom called a couple days later telling me he came home.
Went to a pastor installation where the pastor and his wife, who were friends of ours were being honored with many flowers etc. I cried on the inside because we were never honored with anything, it seemed like ever.....we always got the short end of the stick. God saw and on the way home, I found a dozen roses on the side of the road and put them on my table calling them "Roses from the Lord".
I rarely if ever talk about this kind of stuff.
