To Beard or Not to Beard, That is The Question

I use a Edwin Jagger safety razor and double edge blades. Filthy cheap.
That with some Proraso or Captain’s Choice shaving soap and aftershaves, nice!

I have talked to other people that have the same problem. My brother for one, he can not use electric but must to use a good regular razor. Me I can use either. But like I say these days I have a goatee although I may shave it off this summer, and just stay with my mustache. When I was younger I was the first to have to shave. good thing my pastor did not preach against facial hair. But warned about those in our state that did. So before I went into the ministry, I had grown a mustache. But for years while in the ministry I stayed clean shaven because I would never have gotten licensed in my state with facial hair.

The thing with me I have facial hair by 5 o’clock. I have heavy 5 o'clock shadow.
If I let a beard grow, it would be to the floor with a few days (exaggeration) but seriously it grows in no time. Also my beard would be black and red. It’s been a long time since I had a full beard. So I don’t believe it would be the same as when I was young. So, it would probably grow out gray and black.
