The Unseen Hand
Verse 1
There is an unseen had to me,
That leads through wave I cannot see
While going through this world of woe,
This hand still leads me as I go
CHORUS:
I’m trusting to, the unseen hand,
That guides me through this weary land
When some sweet day I’ll reach that strand,
Still guided by the unseen hand
Verse 2
This hand has led through shadows drear
And while it leads I have no fear
I know t’will lead, me to that home
Where sin nor sorrow ere can come
Verse 3
I long to see, my Saviors face
And sing the story saved by grace
And there upon that golden strand

Thank you, Bro. ChosenbyOne, for posting this
beautiful song by Sis. Vesta Mangun. The reason
she, like many others, sing this song with such
fevor, is because tho unseen, THIS Hand has guided
her many years, through many storms and tests.
I know because I have trusted in THIS HAND. HE
said He would be our Guide, even unto death.
Psalms 48:14
Blessings,

Thanks PO, I just downloaded that song from Amazon. I haven't quite gotten there completely but to be able to rejoice in tribulation because we trust in the living God who said His grace is sufficient is a goal of mine. I always seem to whine a little to God when faced with adversity. I'm learning.

Thank you , Mizpeh!
Compare Psalms 74 with 84! Very awesome! People can bring destruction with their carnal devices because of selfishness, but in Psalm 84 - "How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!"
No matter what people are desiring to build for their own gain - "For a day in they courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness."
Than I can say, in Psalm 103 - "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.........."
Amen! That will preach!!!

I can't remember if I read this in a book or heard Sis Nona Freeman preach this by video, but when her husband went on to be with the Lord, God gave her a scripture: I will bless the Lord at ALL times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth! WOW!
If we could see the reality, if we could see the souls that have gone on and are happy and blessed with the Lord, maybe we wouldn't grieve but rejoice at the loss of a loved one who is saved. But if we could see the reality, it wouldn't be faith, would it?

Well, honestly I was having a meltdown this morning and God gave those scriptures to me having awoken me with the song that I posted. He was preparing my day!
In the midst of praying I realized I had arrived at a place in my walk that I cared for nothing but His presence! I actually stopped for a moment and went - "Wow, I've never felt this much faith in my life!" I've come to the place that I trust His leading no matter what. I can actually say, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in Him."
