Okay, I finally got a closer inspection. It was a Texas Rat Snake, which is normally called a Chicken Snake and does resemble a Rattlesnake from a distance.

He must have killed it in the yard. So, my dog ran off the cat and now I have a dog and snakes. lol He kept running into my Azelea bush, so I think that's where he caught it.



Creepy!!!!!!

Disgusting!!!!!

I'd never go back in the yard again!!!!

However, having the dog will be a plus if he chases away or kills the snakes!
