I, too, will be quite interested to see this!

Brothers and Sisters,
Is it not true that both "ultra-liberal and ultra-conservative" can both be in your face at times?

Taunting or flaunting supposed liberty or supposed holiness is wrong no matter which side it comes from. Liberty is not as free as many might think, we are never free to cause another child of God to fall. Paul was pretty plain about that. Neither are we to abuse or crush those that seem weaker in holiness. Not one part of the fruit of the spirit is condemnation. Not one part of Love condemns.

Love is not puffed up!

I wait with baited breath...oh wise one please elucidate us with each standard and the scripture to back it up!

Now we are getting somewhere!

Brother... No He Doesn't!

You'll never know how many time you and others have TRULY hurt him. But one thing I can say about my husband is he may not be perfect and he may not be right about everything, but he ALWAYS keeps a good spirit. And from where I sit, not many can say that.

Surely he'll go the Torah, and twist up Deut 22:5. The very verse our gospel hinges on.

Without ever looking at the words of that scripture in their original language and setting, he'll declare that a women who does not wear a dress will be lost.

We have no problem proclaiming our heresy's as gospel and salvational.

At some point in time, maybe we should do as the Beareans and study the word. Rightly divide the word.

Yes Berkley, this should be interesting.

I applaud your defense of your husband and that is as it should be!
But remember where you sit, and from what perspective you are viewing. Not everyone is seeing things like you do from your place of reference. This is true in general.

We all see things from different angles at times!

Blessings to You and Dan!

Not my view from where I sit either. Dan is the man!!

And I would think she being his wife would know him better than anyone else.

My post was not about Dan in particular. It was about perspective.

Guys...you are re-writing the english language. That is NOT what Legalism is or means. This Pentecostal Anti-intellectualism is ridiculous and one reason I believe other groups view us as a cult. We can believe the truth AND still be intelligent about it....
