Re: Miracle at Impact Conference
I have a question. Now please note...I am not saying I do or do not believe "what happened, happened!" I wasn't there, I don't know! I simply want to ask a question!
If JA was not dead, what does God think about all this?
Let me make that 2 questions. If JA wasn't dead and he knows he wasn't dead, yet he does not speak up, what does God think?
Let's make that 3 questions. If JA was dead and was raised from the dead and we ask questions, trying to confirm the truth, what does God think?
If there is any justification for asking it's because of other fraudulent stories that have surfaced over the years!
Just askin'

Re: Miracle at Impact Conference
Falla's Grandma: Here's one story that isn't fraudulent!
http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...ad.php?t=15547
Yes, Grandma Lizzie has been gone almost 27yrs, and that little firstborn grandchild (son)
of ours just had his 28th birthday Aug. 1. He and his sweet wife of almost 8 yrs, are now
the firsttime parents of our first Great-grandchild (daughter).
When I think of "what if" God had not raised up Grandma Lizzie, five generations of our
family might not be on earth today to tell the marvelous things GOD HAS DONE!
"What IF Abraham had not believed God..and it was accounted unto him for righteous-
ness! There would have been no Isaac or Jacob, no children of Israel (Jacob)!
Without faith, there would have been no Hebrews 11.
WITHOUT FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. For he that cometh to GOD,
must believe that HE IS, and that HE IS a REWARDER of them that diligently seek HIM.
No lie is of the TRUTH. TRUTH sets mankind free from the law of sin and death. He whom
the Son sets free is free indeed!
Just some thoughts!

Just curious! What was fraudulent about the Siberian Seven? I just received
the book "The Siberian Seven" this week from Amazon, by John Pollock. Haven't
had time to read it as we have had out of country company in town.

Oh, I didn't have anyone in particular in mind. I've just been around a long time and remember stories about such as Peter Popoff and others like him that put on trickery, using hidden people to relay messages to him, etc.

Ahhh, good ol Pete.
Pete Popoff is just one of the major examples but there are countless small ones. Again, the "word of knowledge" thing is my personal annoyance more then anything else.
