Oh yes...and BTW....there is nothing startling about the message LB preached IMO...just a pastor rallying the church he pastors around his personal position on a Sunday night....happens all the time for sure......

By most preachers, if not all do this very thing not just LB or the conservatives

I personally see nothing wrong with what he preached (if that is what he wants to preach) because he preached it to the church he pastors.....that is their business....I would not want him to preach that to my church...but have no beef with him preaching it to his...

I beleive these ultra con pastors have deeply held beliefs that have been leading them toward seperating from the UPC for quite some time, long before Res 4.
I believe once they seperate they will have unity themselves and will leave the UPC with a lot more unity than it has had in recent years.
The test will be if they can seperate without allowing bitterness and rancor to set in and cause ungodly rhetoric to be directed toward those they are seperating from.
