The law had many purposes and one was to reveal his nature to his people. I am not talking about doing these as unto righteousness but as a response of a good conscience before God.

Does the prophecy not say the law would be written on our heart. To say "law" is done away is misleading. A covenant can be done away but the nature/law of God does not. It if was bad for you then it is bad for you now.
Sure somethings are shadow and type but much in the MC is light!
L, the righteousness contained in the law has not been done away with. However, that righteousness is imputed to us through faith, not our keeping of the OT law.

Arsenic, poison ivy, and black widow venom have no medicinal value. Try again.

Marijuana is bad because societal perception made it so and passed a law against it... prior to that it would have been considered a natural remedy... (and no I don't smoke it).

Ouch.

Now you are preaching to me.

I am trying to overcome it though!

I am not making excuses for it.

Me too... but I have no intention of getting down to the military charts... those are evil.

There's definitely potential for abuse there, BM. It's no different than the plant cocaine is derived from. When used properly, it is an excellent natural remedy. When abused, it can be very damaging.
