HERE IS MY PROBLEM WITH IT.....This preacher at one time had his church's banknote paid for, for 1 year by the host pastor...and then to do this in his pulpit...it's a disregard for ministry, pastor, his pulpit, and church...nuf said!
I'm kinda glad that we don't open our pulpit too often

We must remember some preachers are just crude...even though they are sincere. I thank the Lord for my pastor in the states and for my husband...kind holiness men who love the Lord.
I had never heard DP and was surprized he was on the list as I heard many preachers beforehand say they did not care for his tatics but that is a "preacher thing" I guess...
Brother Alvear has took aside some of our preachers and helped them be more polished about what they have to say. He started off real good and sang 2 beautiful songs so I choose to remember the sermon by the first part...the last part I was not in the service as I went and laid down and came back for the very end....lots of preachers were in the halls they said they were very tired.
I was blessed to be there and met many friends. Our family was especially blessed by Brother Meade's message along with some of the others. God knows what we were needing and we left BLESSED.

Sister Alvear, you have such a kind spirit! Your posts are always uplifting and laced with wisdom. I would love to meet you sometime when you're in the Nashville area again! I was occupied getting a DVD project delivered or I would have been with CC1 at the AMC on Wednesday night!

and may I say at any conference there is always some you like and some you may not care to hear. I would think that is a normal thing.
If it is true the happening at Brother Haymon's ( no doubting on my part) then some good elder should take him aside and talk to him but we have had preachers come and say hard things to our Brazilian church...so it happens everywhere.
I do not mean DP or any certain person but many times when all you hear from someone is womens dress, internet, this or that many times THEY are struggling with some issue. Please NOTE I am not saying DP I am making a general comment.
I know there are grave dangers on the net but the greatest danger of all is NOT guarding our hearts...for our hearts govern our actions.
I have to have internet to use e mail in Brazil. We do not have juno or some of the programs here in America. NOT one time have I ever been tempted to go where I should not go. I use it for e mails and online dictionaries, buying airline tickets, studing and things of that order.
I don't go to chat rooms and write on a few forums when I have time and that's about it...
I feel in my heart a deep hunger to grow closer to God. I have no desire to push anyone down but rather give them a hand to get up...

Thank you for such kind words. Come over and visit us sometime and we can all just sit down and chat and talk about the goodness of the Lord. No one has to dress like me or even look like me to be my friend. Our love for our Lord puts us on common ground. Blessings to you my friend.

I've got a couple questions.
No accusations, (J/W) but do you really feel right about passing yourself as an conservative Apostolic preacher?
And I have a question in my mind about the senior preacher that knowingly "saved you a seat". (I think that's the way you posted it )
