I have many imperfections. I just don't usually start threads that sling mud. People that sling mud find themselves losing ground.

Thad, just the fact that you started a thread talking about "looking" pentecostal can rub some folks the wrong way. You are suggesting that to be Pentecostal ya have to dress and look a certain way. What about the pennys that don't have the traditional look. Are they less pentecostal?

Our ladies look and act like Apostolics. They are not tacky nor unkempt but always look very nice and Christianlike.

So, the women in NT times got all fancied up and whatnot for church, with hairspray, pantyhose, high heel shoes, and fancy hairdos?

Rhoni,

In my opinion, Life Tabernacle is right on track when it comes to personal convictions. The leadership of the church doesn't get up in the pulpit and preach standards. They don't see a need to do something that should be left up to the Lord. Ruling people with fear and demands of conformity creates obstacles to many fully reaching their potential in Christ.

Standards are personal convictions and not universal demands from the leadership of the church. I feel that there is so much liberty in the Holy Ghost in the services and the anointing of God is not compromised at all with this approach.

Christ commands us to love each other. Following this commandment creates an atmosphere where all are welcome regardless of their outward appearance.

As you witnessed, there are very traditional looking women worshiping side by side with contemporary looking women. I believe that this is more of the example of the church of God than everyone appearing to be cut from the same cookie cutter!

Thanks. I will stand before the throne as you. My righteousness is as filthy rags, and cannot be measured by anyone less than the Judge.
In other words, you might not recognize it, but that doesn't make it any less righteous, just because I have facial hair.

You have it also, but choose to abandon nature's edict in favor of man's tradition. All the while, gossiping; contrary to scripture.
