Luke, thanks for your thoughts.

The 'way' is called 'the way of holiness', although 'love' is a term that accurately describes it.

Would you say that 'love', Biblically speaking, is holiness?

IF a person loves God, they will walk in holiness, correct?

Are the two terms not basically two sides of the same coin, so to say?

As for 'God's essence', that essence was manifested to us in Christ, holiness and love are both parts of it, are they not?

sure reads as wrong to me.

By that statement I meant that God's nature is holy not love. Love is an attribute of God but not His nature. His love flows from His mature of holiness along with all of His attributes. This does not mean God is not loving or love it simply means His nature is Holy.
