Emma, tell ILG I saw the PLAIN TRUTH movie. I don't think it was as good or interesting as the book, but the basic plot was the same. Jodi Piculti's writing was not done justice in the movie.

I am presently reading Plain Secrets: Outsider Among the Amish by Joe Mackall. So far I like what I am reading. It's mostly about a family in the Swartzentruber sect known by the author.
That's too bad about the movie. The ending really did creep me out.

Yeah, Me, Emma that is, is a ficticious Amish/Apostolic person. I have real trying times over things like lightbulbs and such. It's very similar to lying awake at night over whether to have TV advertising or not, don't you think? Me, I lie awake at night over lightbulbs, and trinitarian pretzels.
