Mom used to say that we could slide down the necks of giraffes, pet lions, and fly with eagles...what a cool way to let kids relate to heaven somehow...

It looks as if we have reached yet another impasse...LOL
Frankly, I don't care one way or the other about there being animals in heaven- I have heard that there would be- but, I believe once over there nothing else will matter, but seeing the face of Jesus....JMHO
It IS difficult to comfort the 'feeble minded' at times, though.

I don't know about animals in heaven, but I do hope (and kinda believe) there will be animals on the New Earth. Would be great to wander through the hills and valleys of the New Earth with my old dog.

I' ve always thought that since God created Adam and Eve to live forever, that He did the same for the animals He created. Death didn't come to any creature until sin entered into the world.

Well if that is the case there is going to be a lota Chickens, Cows, & Pigs that are going to be upset with me!

I don't know... I think that they might have a soul, since the soul is simply the disires. But not a spirit, I've never heard a dog speak in tounges... : )
