LOl! I know what you are saying, Brother. I was attending a Oneness Church at the time and the pastor "discouraged" our attending Bro. Schambachs meeting. I'm sure, being the godly brother he was, had my best interest at heart. However, my being just a kid at the time had no idea what the Trinity was. Or Oneness for that matter. When someone said "Acts 2:38", I didn't know if the 2 was the chapter or the verse. I was as dumb as a box of rocks. I actually thought at the time that there was only one Holy Ghost. Can you imagine.

I had repented of my sins and had been baptized by Pastor W.H. Dunn and Evangelist H. H. Phillips. However, I still held to my racist views. I prayed and prayed for the Holy Ghost, all to no avail. Our church, as I recall, was all white at the time which suited me just fine.

Then Bro. Schambach, who I had been hearing on the radio, came to town. It was there, surrounded by a sea of black and Hispanic faces that God forgave my racism, and filled me with the Holy Ghost For 10 nights, he preached, "The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want". Since then, til now, I have tried to follow His Voic, and what a journey it is!

37 years ago today, I recieved the baptism of the Holy Ghost when Evangelist R. W. Schambach laid hands on me in a crusade in Miami, Florida. I was the 2nd in line on "Holy Ghost Night" and God gloriously filled me with overflowing with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speakin in tongues. I rejoice in this because the Baptism of His Spirit opened the way for me to recieve the revelation that Jesus is more than a Man. He is the Lord of Glory. The Mighty God revealed in humanity. I praise Him today for His resurrecting Power!

The baptism of the Spirit opens up so much for us. I know what happened to me when I received the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues. My spiritual life went to another whole different level.

Congratulations on this anniversary of your Spirit baptism!

Is that said TIC? I'm curious. Cuz as far as I know there really is only one Holy Ghost. Did I miss something?

Yeah, that was spoken with tongue in cheek. There are some who think non-Oneness folks do not recieve the REAL Holy Ghost. But, I can tell you for sure....
