IF people would use the report button to report stuff that they are complaining about-- then the admins could do a more effective job of handling problems.

We need to focus on the positive more and less on the negative. When we take our focus off God and on to man is when things get rocky.
What has God done for you lately?

Sorry, RG, subtance is in the eye of the beholder. Posting substance here over the past year has been equal to feeding a 6 year old filet mignon. It is scarfed, chewed, swallowed, spit up a little bit, then followed down by cool aid. I have watched it happen and refuse to offer something of value to be trodden under foot.
Have my posts been considered by some to be acidic? Sure. I view my posts differently. I honestly don't understand, for example, how a majority of people here who attack the integrity of the WPF and the men thereof didn't visit Tulsa, but have volumes to write tearing down, yes, tearing down reputations of GODLY men. This happens with any intelligent subject brought up. I point out inconsistencies in logic and beliefs and I am labeled as acerbic. Good. When a board can turn a goodbye thread into a meat grinder, go ahead and have your forum.
I question the mental state of people that have nothing better to do than tens of thousands of posts attempting to destroy the Apostolic doctrine and the reputations of good honest men.
The people that scream peace and unity the most usualy don't want peace and justice, they want their own way of life. AFF can have it.

Re: What New Direction?
For years legalists have been allowed to run people down for the most part, unchecked and unchallenged. When the legalists get a taste of the barbs they have been throwing for years, they turn tail and run. Legalists remind me of Jezebel after her prophets were destroyed. When the sacred cows of legalism were challenged, legalists got bent out of shape. Most of who moved on moved to other forums who would continue to allow the sacred cows to stand.
The sad realization is what I've been stating all along. No one has a monopoly on the definition of apostolic. This forum has a wide spectrum of people who claim to be apostolic. The problem is many are so infatuated with own defintion of apostolic it is difficult for them relate to others with different defintions.

I think its naive to think that most of these people who left should have just hung around to "work though the issues".

One doesn't have to swim in a septic tank to know the contents.

This is true from my view point. No need to get bitter about it tho. My constant prayer is we will be led into all truth. Its not strictness I am against. Its unbiblical strictness.
If a doctrine is true let it be recognized and obeyed. We are servants of Jesus Christ. If its man pushing his tradition, no thanks.

BINGO!
But therein lies a problem. Each has a different definition of MODEST. Each has a different definition of THAT WHICH PERTAINETH TO A MAN. Each has a different definition of LONG HAIR.
Some think their traditions ARE the Word.
The sad truth is that in our humanity, we tend to condemn others who don't share our opinions.
I remember a post back where I asked one conservative poster just WHAT his definition of truth was. He gave me an off-handed remark that I should read the bible if I really wanted to know. When he knew very well I was trying to get to the bottom of what he INCLUDED IN HIS APOSTOLIC TRUTH doctrine vs. what I think is biblical.
Don't back 'em in the corner with a logical question ... they resort to name-calling and stomping off. The disrespect isn't JUST coming from the liberal camp, I assure you!
Bottom line.. We have some who are still looking for truth. We have some who know the difference between tradition and truth, And we have some who can't face the truth even though they know it.
