Re: Outlawing Gay "Discrimination"
Would you support such a law that targets the idiots who "preach" at soliders funerals, even though they were not gay. I think his name is Phelps?? How could that law be written so as to exclude a ligimate group who wanted to witness in front of a gay bar? Or, who passed out tracts in a gay neighborhood. There are some churches who have this type of ministry and it is not hate--it is Godly love.

Re: Outlawing Gay "Discrimination"
This is just another step to silence ANY witness Christians have. The goal is to first minimize the voice of the church, and then to silence the voice of the church.

How about just making it illegal to protest or otherwise disrupt a funeral?

Re: Outlawing Gay "Discrimination"
Its only going to get worse and worse. It's only a matter of time....
I can envision a day when Christian websites will be outlawed and/or shut down for "homophobia".
The devil is definitely busy.

Why can't churches just preach Jesus, and let Jesus deal with people's sins?
Isn't that supposed to be what the Holy Ghost is all about? Teaching and Guiding, and Counseling?
I can't understand it. I have never met a group that focus on the Baptism of the Spirit more than Apostolics, yet they seem to lack the faith that it is Strong enough to talk to those he inhabits.

Re: Outlawing Gay "Discrimination"
from the article:
" Religious publishers, he acknowledged, could be accused under the law for publishing biblical condemnation of homosexuality. Colorado Springs, where Focus in located, also is home to the huge Christian publishing operations of NavPress and the International Bible Society.
"There are those who simply by publishing Christian materials could find themselves charged with a violation of this statute," he said. "
also...
"The law exempts churches, but that's not good, that's an insult. I.E., bigotry is allowed only in churches. Whereas every other place of public accommodation including bookstores, retail & wholesale businesses, etc. cannot sell or even 'give away' anything that would advocate discrimination [against] gay adoption, homosexual marriage, etc.," Enyart said.
Why would any Christian think this is a good law? Strange.

Guess that's why Jesus was adamant about overthrowing Rome. He was shooting for a Theocracy. Or maybe his kingdom is not of this world.

Should we preach repentance? I mean what does "just preach Jesus" mean?
I thought the issue here was those the Spirit does NOT inhabit.
BTW a funny thing: I was reading some epistles...letters to the church (those that the Spirit is IN) and Paul constantly reminds them what sins are and what the fruit are. I don't know why....I guess according to your logic Paul did not think the Spirit was strong enough?

It's amazing to me to see...what I assume is a Christian, saying GOOD to secular anti-Christian laws....just amazing.
Christians are their own worse enemies when it comes to this kind of thinking
