Apparently, he had no problem with Hollywood making a movie from his book though.

I love YHWH very much. I believe he loves me more than I could know. I dont think I am going to Hell. YET if I were to begin to drift I certainly would fear going to Hell. Not everyone is going to Heaven.

I believe Jesus did/does use fear motivation. Its very clear from his words.

How about this?

11: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Rev. 2:11

Jesus tells the people in his Churches only the overcomers will not go to Hell.

How about this?

4: Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5: He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Here Jesus tells people in his Church if they defile their garments he will blot them out of his book.

Was Jesus Christ using fear as a motivation to wake his people up? Actually I could post many places saying the same type things. Yes fear is an excellent motivation.

It is for those whose love is growing cold. It is for those who are out of Gods will. It is for those whose works are not perfect. The great delusion of our day is that people dont seem to believe what Jesus said about these things.

It is not religously correct to believe such teaching.

God has NEVER used hell to motivate me. He has always used His lovingkindness and tender mercies. Sometimes that comes with a big swift kick in the butt in the form of a spiritual reality check, but he has never been harsh with me.

I find it interesting that some of you assumed my post was referring to God sending you to Hell. I didn't think that was going to happen.

Maybe that's why I don't love God.

I mean, I like Him and everything. But I still haven't gotten to the point where I feel I can trust Him.

You just sound to me like you are hurting.

Even if you don't love God or trust Him. He wants to show you His love and prove his trustworthiness to you.

In the case of others.... Sometimes he has used that as a motivator.
