Sam- Why the difference in what it is saying from Scripture?

I guess I've felt like all of those you've mentioned.
Also, I've felt like Elijah when he prayed that he might die and said, "It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life..." 1 Kings 19:4.

I've also felt like Joseph in Genesis 42:8 where it says, "Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him."

David: He had faith to overcome any obstacle, knew how to touch the heart and throne of God...but had too much blood on his hands to be qualified to build the temple.

Jochabed: She had faith that God would work things out for her children, and she raised her son, and gave him back to God for kingdom use.

Paul: Thought he was doing the right things for the right reasons, but was wrong, repented, and God again utilized him and his gifts/education...despite the thorn in his flesh.

Mary & Martha: I love to sit at the feet of Jesus, worship, and listen, but like Martha I have a servant's heart.

Peter for the fact of all his mistakes,He preached on the day of Pentecost.
Even though failed miserably at times, grace was extended to him.
In times where I feel like an utter failure,I take courage in thinking about Peter and God's grace.
