Maybe someone should remind this guy that the Bible tells us not to speak disrespecfully of our leaders.

Re: The Republican Convention

Well, if McCain's mom is 96 there is hope that John might live through his four years of Presidency!

Re: The Republican Convention

I thought tonight was a good night for the Republican convention!

Fred Thompson gave a great speech as I knew he would. I think he not only painted a picture of the life story that McCain has to prepare him for the Presidency but did a great job of contrasting his actual accomplishments against the zero accomplishments of Obama other than him being a great orator.

Joe Lieberman also did a good job bringing an outsider's perspective to supporting McCain for President. He also did a good job of contrasting Obama's lack of experience againt McCains accomplishments.

I can't wait to hear Governor Palin tomorrow night!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I thought it was humorous that Lieberman even gave a little plug to Clinton, to contrast Obama's lack of experience ect. Saying this would probably be a first before he mentioned Clinton in such a positive manner at Republican convention.

I would say I disagree with most of what Lieberman stands for, but he is one of the most honest guys in Washington and he deserves credit for that.

Fred Thompson hit it out of the park. dude was on fire.

I heard Newt this morning. he was being intervewed on some tv show last night and said something along the lines of
"all Obama has done is write a couple of books and run for president. You show me where his experience compares to Sarah Palin"

dude was attacking the lib host! it was funny!
