Well, I think he spoke highly of Bishop Patterson,
and,
AB has been ordained as a Bishop,
and,
some Bishops wear Bishop's gowns.

what is the basis for adorning one's self with a Bishop gown?
Is it because Jesus wore bishop gowns?

I'm not sure just how Jesus dressed but I'm pretty sure He didn't wear pants, a suit coat, a white shirt buttoned at the collar with long sleeves, a necktie (cloth necklace), and closed in shoes made from the skins of alligators, snakes or lizards. The Bible does speak of a "skirt" several times as being "men's clothing."
