NO!!

I'm with Rhoni. That's the service that I might just feel the urge to make my mom feel good by visiting with her at my childhood church. I can take the Baptist service better than I can handle southern gospel.

I too, like all kinds of gospel music. The older I get- the more I like southern gospel, though.

I was invited to go and hear the Dixie Echos by the wife of the youngest singer.I hate that kind of music but may go because I can share truth with
them.I love souls.I don't however choose this kind of music.Anyway its in two weeks.

I am sure in Heaven when it talks about is singing around the throne-it is going to be "Southern Gospel!"

This video is of my favourite group-Gold City Quartet. I saw them when they came to our city at a Church in our neighborhood about ten years ago.
Gold City is based in Dahlonega, Georgia.

Here is a Video of them at Bill Gaithers Homecoming Series.

Though Black gospel has always been my favorite style of music, I was a huge fan back in the day of The Singing Rambos...had all their LPs at one time.

I still do have a Rambo double Anniversary LP...a few months ago when we had a family deal here, I was playing it while I was cooking and everyone enjoyed the old songs.
