Ok. We're home now, and unloaded and about to freeze. (our furnace is broken and we are awaiting the part to arrive.) We'll be ok, I have enough fat and weight to keep us warm enough. haha
Getting to meet HO was an honor and a privilege. Sis. Doughty and I were late to service, I can't remember why, I have sat so long in the van today, that I think I smashed my brains....duhhhhhh anyway, we were late. I looked around and didn't see anyone who looked like her. I knew she said she was tall, so I was looking for a tall lady who looked kinda like her avatar, and never saw one, so I just began to worship and went through service every now and then looking around inconspicuously (sp?) and never saw and then went and prayed at the altar service, see he even preached me into the altar, now that is a man of God!!!!!
I just got finished praying and Dad Doughty came and motioned for me to come over to him, and he said there is a lady here that has come to meet you, and I knew it was HO.
I have to say, she is extremely sweet!!!! She has a gentle spirit, and she is a lot of fun to be with. This is going to be a contiuation of friendship started on line and now we have met in person, it's going to be great.
I wish we could have had more time to visit, but she had a 2 hour drive home and I was soo tired I couldn't hardly sit there, my behind feels like it has been hit by a truck. I have sat more this weekend than I have in a looonnnnnnngggggg time.
Anyway, it was great meeting Joy this weekend and we'll have to do it again soon.
Well, I've established one thing for sure. Joy is a rebel.
I told her what would be proper protocal in this setting and what does she do??? she shows up in a pant suit, hoop earings, cut hair showing, (told her to put it up) and red lip stick.
