By itself, you're right. In the context of the Road Rage thread and the postitions exposed there, I think it is fair. One was attempted murder, the other a morbid murder. Both are inexcusable, condemnable.

I'm not big on death penalty but I take exception when it's an innocent child. How can you kill your own flesh for such selfish reasons??

I'm not real big on issuing the death penalty, but this case is making me rethink my stance on it.

And of course, Caylee Anthony has it so that she CAN NOT be put to death if she is convicted in all of this. For as many folks that the State of Florida has killed, this case, imo, warrants the same punishment-- upon Caylee Anthony's conviction.

I am perceiving this to be a case where justice will never be served.

Unless the evidence changes the prosecution's theory is that the mother accidently overdosed the child, and then when she realized that she was dead panicked and covered it up. That is why they pulled the death penalty off, but if the new evidence changes their theory, that could change.

Well if she was "traumatized" by her accidental killing of her own daughter, why was she in the clubs dancing and partying?

If it was all accidental, why were the Grandparents lying, or making "misleading statements"?

When I think about all of their actions, it seems fishy to me. From the beginning, they have been in "hide and deceive" mode.

I can't imagine your pain, at all. I'm sorry that happened to you and your family.

I think it is amazingly resilient of you that you are able to speak about this publicly, given the personal nature of your tragedy.

Are you in the same state that the murderer is incarcerated?

Have you ever thought of visiting him?

Sounds insane on the surface, but I saw a non-fiction show on tv where a guy killed another man's family member and as a way of bringing more closure and healing from the loss, he read the Bible to the murderer. He too was awaiting his death penalty to be carried out.

This post stems from your lack of knowledge of how I really felt and expressed about that road rage incident.

I thought I was clear, but maybe I wasn't. For my lack of clarity, I apologize.

In fact, neither the idiot driver or the shooter would be "worthy" of the death penalty in that case.
