Love the photos. I've never visited that part of the USA.

I should have hidden in your luggage and hitched a ride; my husband's brother
lives in NV not too far from Reno.

Does he live on a ranch? there is this place just outside Reno called the "BUNNY RANCH".

Nah, he's retired. His biggest pasttime is in Ham Radio...operator, shows, etc.
He's been a "Ham" for about 60 years.

The best time to go camping in the Tahoe area is Late June through September, if you go earlier you might still have some cold nights, 30's and if you go later you will have the same problem. We have always gone camping up there in July or August. Really nice night and if you get a shady spot nice during the day. Fishing is really great as well, the Carson river is ideal for learning how to Fly Fish.
