Here is how it worked, if someone was standing near you and they wanted to receive it, you took them by the hand and led them to the altar where a huge line of altar workers were waiting. The altar workers are all leaders and pastors in our district.
When someone received they let us know on the platform and then we took a break and had all who had received the gift come up on the platform where they were counted. Then we started up again with those who were still seeking the Holy Ghost, and when they received it they were brought up as well.
