I believe that's normal for someone with a missions burden.

I will meet back up with the group in Rio and fly home. I will be gone from home 12 days, which is the longest I've ever been away from Eddie, so that will be sort of weird.

I had a prophet from New Zealand prophesy over me a couple years ago (who didn't know me at all) and said that I would start going to the nations without Eddie. I knew it was a confirmation of what I'd been feeling, because I have this tremendous burden for foreign missions, and he has this tremendous burden to send money but not go. LOL!! I have gone twice to Costa Rica without him, and now I will go to Brazil. Next year, I will probably be going to Kenya without him too, unless God changes his mind.

I can hardly wait to hang out with the Alvears in their homeland and see what God is doing through their ministry!!!
Sherri, I hope you are blessed at both locations. Next time perhaps Uncle Paul can fly in the resident missionary of Brazil - Sis Alvear!!

Yeah, I didn't have any input on who gets to attend this retreat. They would have been on the top of my list!! However, they are probably exhausted from their trip to the U.S., so they might not have wanted to go anyway.

I am the Missions Director for our ministry, and there's nothing that I'm more passionate about. I love missionaries and I love to go and try to be a blessing in other nations. I only wish I had started when I was younger!

Re: I Leave for Brazil in 3 weeks!

Had lunch again today with Sherri - her hotel is next door to me, so she came to eat with me at work. Good lunch, good conversation, good friend.

She's off to the airport at 2:30 - - God be with you in your travels!
