Many folks from my church are heading down to Connecticut tomorrow for Winterfire. The speakers are Jeff Arnold, Sam Emory, Morton Bustard, David Bernard, Lee Stoneking, Raymond Woodward, and Mark Morgan. My friends are all excited about going. I'm afraid if I go, I will be disappointed. I'm sure these men are all good Christians and fine preachers but...
My son has tried to talk me into going but I don't want to waste my time if all I'm going to hear about is Apostolic Identity and HMH. I want to be challenged to be a better Christian, to desire to honor Christ in all that I do, say, and think, to see the world as God sees it. I want to be instructed in how to walk with God. I don't want to listen to a well crafted wordsmith, but I want to hear someone speak who is truly anointed of God. Can any of these men say what Paul said in
Rom 15:29, "I am sure that, when I come unto you,
I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ."
What do you think? Should I go or should I stay home?
