At $75pp and four in my family doubt I will be attending it.
On the other hand it might be worth it as a cultural experience for my daughters.

To be fair, I've seen some conference cost of other churches/denominations, and $50pp is cheap compared to some I've seen. We got spoiled back in the day with it being free.
Something to consider when booking your reservations is hotel parking. Some are as high as 27.00 a night.
Some have shuttle service from 7 am - 7 pm. Not much help for after service. I don't know if the conference provides shuttles are not. Also, different hotels may offer different services.

One thing that I think may backfire with paying per service is that... if I paid $15.00 to get in, then I feel less obligated to donate any money, and expect there to be less begging for money during the service.

I do believe we were spoiled. People blink at $28 (+ a lot more) for just one night of some other Gospel groups - then complain about $75 for the entire Conference. Sounds like some just want to find fault.
