Dunno. The camera lens always changes things. It just seems to me that if this wasn't a "regularly scheduled event" (aircraft, etc.) then it certainly wasn't a "covert" U.S. launch.
Whoever pushed this button wanted to be seen (barring a more reasonable explanation).
