Don't get me wrong. The bar was lowered by others long ago. But still; can't we at least try?

Jasjit, did you get exact free airfare and accommodations, as pronounced by the Lord in the prophetic email, from the Federal courts judgment as well?

Does God lie? And prey on the thousands scam victims? And does Ms. Laura Thompson even work for the US gov't?

Re: Asylum Granted to Missionary Jasjit Singh

If I read everything correctly, this guy has evidently been an Apostolic for less than a year.
I would suggest instead of roasting him on an open forum, that we communicate our concerns with his pastor or elders and let them deal with him.
My opinion would be different if he had been in the faith for several years.
He obviously still has some theology issues, still.

AEGSM ... this man has understood, or has been exposed, to most of the precepts of Christianity for quite some time as he was a Trinitarian pastor for years, he's got a doctorate for his Christian work in India

... he is well versed in most core Christian doctrines ranging from .... the deity of Christ ... the Incarnation .... the infallibility of Scripture ... you name it ...

His Apostolicness has little to do with the theology issues you and I speak of ... as he has embraced modalism, works based salvation and Water and Spirit doctrine ...

The problem here is that he does not preach Christ or His Gospel when he gets caught up in that mess .. and tangling up with his new group will only ensure pet doctrines such as preaching another Jesus are solidified ... imo.

His elders want him to preach Acts 2:38 as part of their global mission and willing to pay through the nose for it ... that's what matters. He's been given the keys ... and a "missionary" within months of his "conversion"

That said I think he needs some discipling on the core of the Gospel message ... I don't think he'll get it from the NO TV gospel sect.

Those in Sikhism and Islam need to hear and see Jesus ... not fancy-filled attempts that might confuse their perceptions of who He is.

Nice guys ... well-intentioned ... all of them. And they have the same access to the web ... we know this through their propaganda tool ... apostolicnews.org'

The whole site is filled with grammar like this. Of course, with the advent of the Internet most "news" sites have articles posted that would make an elementary school teacher angry.

I'm just saying, can't we at least try and do better? There's nothing wrong with making revisions. If you're going to delete all critical comments anyway, why not clean up a few other things at the same time? PB of apostolicnews.org?

It's not like DAII took something that was said within the confines of a new converts class and started blasting away. He was responding to articles on Brother Jasjit's publicly available website.

Re: Asylum Granted to Missionary Jasjit Singh

I missed the part where he was a "Christian" prior to his oneness conversion.
With that being the case, I have no issue.
My concern was that if he was a new convert, I would grant him some time to work out his theology.
Thanks for the clarification!

Yep.

Counting on God to bring about the change sometimes makes you vulnerable to people with ulterior motives.

I hope the investment into the soul of this man pays off in the preaching of the Gospel of Christ to millions in India and Pakistan.

Fyi: Jasjit Singh is not a Pastor at The Rock Church. Just thought it should be clarified for all those on AFF.
