Ah but deer season approaches and I'm always ready for a little pre-season target practice. What shall it be? Compound bow or crossbow? How about a 243, 30-30 or a 30-06? Or maybe just a trusty shotgun? 20 gauge or 12? Pump or semi-auto? Or maybe the 50 caliber muzzleloader? With saboted bullets of course. Course a plain ole .22 would work too.

How about me looking from 1,000 yards through my Leupold Mark 4 Long Range Tactical M1 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 6.5-20x 50mm, attached to my Remington 700Police 300 WinMag sniper rifle?

Both begin with R and both can be causes of loud noises.
