Our previous pastor, Jeff Hennigan is now in a staff position at Mike Hayes' church in Carrollton. Another great church from what I understand.
Have been exposed to the ministry of Bro. Cook for years through various camps, audio ministry, seminars and personal contact. Good man, excellent leader and effective minister. If I lived in the area, I would seriously consider attending.

Agree. He was my youth pastor many years ago at this church, and he continues to exhibit the qualities you mentioned. Really love the direction our church is heading.

Really good question. I have noticed that some traditional 3 step churches do post a rather vague statement of faith on their websites, possibly as to not alienate potential visitors before they even get there. It may not mean they don't think baptism is more than "public evidence of that faith" but just aren't saying it there.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Also I noticed that they have a scheduled baptism for those wishing to be baptized. Also odd from a traditional three-step view.
